Natural Cosmetics Leader, Weleda, Streamlines Their Packaging Processes with Esko WebCenter

They have been developing certified natural cosmetics and anthroposophic medicine since 1921. As a pioneer of sustainability from the beginning, Weleda emphasizes giving back as much as they take.
Weleda wanted to streamline their packaging processes to be more efficient. Prior to using Esko WebCenter, they used a content management system (CMS) to manage their pharmaceutical products’ texts with an interface to external programs. Unfortunately, that system had been in use for 10 years and no longer met the industry standard.
Weleda believes product packaging should be appealing, informative, and support a relationship with consumers. They implemented WebCenter, a validated, configurable system that would not only fulfill their requirements but grow with them.
