Security printing prevents forgery, counterfeiting or tampering. Many of the techniques used to protect documents have become more available to printers even when they are printing on flexographic presses. Businesses are protecting their value documents such as passports, lottery tickets, coupons … to make sure that they cannot be forged or tampered with.
Security printing with SecuFlex
The SecuFlex options are available for the CDI Spark 2530 and the CDI Spark 4835.
The CDI SecuFlex 2530 is available for plate formats 25” x 30” / 635 x 762 mm, the CDI SecuFlex 4835 for plate formats 48” x 35” / 1200 x 900 mm. They are both equipped with EasyClamp for fast and most convenient plate loading on the vacuum drum. Optionally a magnetic / magnetic-vacuum drum is available for steel-base Letterpress plates.
The CDI imagers with the SecuFlex option for security printing come with high resolution optics. They use 8000 ppi instead of 2540ppi.
