The demo team presents the visitors with integrated Esko solutions that make the most sense for their specific operation. |
Digital Finishing in Gent, BelgiumThe Customer Experience Center in Gent, Belgium focuses on Digital Finishing. This facility houses almost the entire Kongsberg digital finishing product portfolio, ranging from the small Kongsberg XE10 to the wide format Kongsberg C64 with underside camera and a board feeder and stacker. Dedicated tooling carts give the visitors an idea of the impressive array of bits, knife blades and tool inserts for each cutting table. |
Interactive demosAlso in Gent, samples come to life in interactive demos. Starting from the design stage, the guests witness the creation of the sample with various Esko software solutions on the big screens. Different steps in the software move the sample further to the digital finishing stage on the Kongsberg cutting tables. Equally exciting is the virtual reality experience where the visitor intuitively manipulates 3D samples in hyper-realistic store simulations with Oculus Rift glasses and Oculus Touch controllers. |
Digital Flexo in Itzehoe, GermanyThe Esko Customer Experience Center in Itzehoe, Germany focuses on Digital Flexo. There, Esko showcases state of the art technology for the flexo plate making ecosystem. This ranges from workflows and quality control tools, over the Esko expanded gamut printing solution, to an eye-catching CDI Crystal XPS set-up, which is completed with a DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST thermal plate processor and an Esko Kongsberg X20 digital cutting table for fast and efficient flexo plate cutting. |
A busy hubThe Esko Customer Experience Centers are the nerve centers of the Esko experts. Not only do they welcome guests and happily share insights with them; they also produce new creations for the showroom, prepare samples for events like trade shows, and perform benchmark tests for clients and material partners. “Recently one of our large accounts, specialized in corrugated boxes, has been appointed as the preferred partner of a global brand owner. A new type of box, designed to become the brand owner’s default shipper box worldwide, will shortly be developed and tested in the Esko Customer Experience Center in Gent, Belgium. We are very proud that our integrated solutions strengthen our customers in their industry leading role,” wraps Stijn Govaert up. |
