Packaging Innovations visitors to discover latest prepress, flexo and inspection solutions from Esko
Esko, the global developer of integrated software and hardware solutions that digitize, automate and connect the go-to-market process of consumer goods, will showcase its latest advancements in prepress, flexo platemaking and print inspection solutions at this month’s Packaging Innovations expo.
On 25 and 26 May 2022, the Esko team will be at the NEC in Birmingham for the event dedicated to primary and secondary packaging, where specialists from across the sector will convene to discover and discuss the latest developments in technology, meet like-minded peers and hear inspiring talks from industry leaders. “Following the postponement of the 2021 event, we’re excited to be attending this year’s Packaging Innovations,” said James Mason, Esko Regional Business Director for EMEA North. “Esko has recently introduced a number of exciting innovations that further simplify and streamline processes, and this national event is the ideal opportunity for us to showcase how our latest solutions drive efficiency right across a business.”
Esko Release 22.03 includes a host of new features, such as next generation Color Preflight with Automation Engine and ArtPro+; new assembly instructions with ArtiosCAD, reducing assembly time by up to 20%; Native Apple Silicon support for ArtPro+, DeskPack and Studio; a new ArtPro+ Digital Edition for digital print workflows; and improved WebCenter user experience and reporting.

James said the Esko team would be using its booth (#B54) to run a series of dedicated focus sessions at the UK event, spotlighting how specific technologies drive efficiency and productivity gains throughout a business. “We’ll discuss and demonstrate how integrated software and hardware solutions combine to deliver quality, efficiency, and productivity gains to packaging businesses,” he said. “We’ll have sessions on speeding up approvals by taking them online, how to automate the step and repeat process in as little as five seconds, and how digitizing can streamline file preparation for flexo platemaking. We’ll also demonstrate how we can lower our customers’ print rejection rate and increase press productivity with Esko AVT 100% print inspection, and how these latest developments can help companies in their digital transformation journey,” he said.
