Bruno Vaes (1969) became CFO of Esko in April 2012, in charge of Finance, Legal and IT.
Previously he served as VP&CFO for Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets at PerkinElmer Inc, a scientific instrument and genetic screening company with global operations, from Singapore: leading a large finance team, he provided strategic and tactical finance support to the region and their operations. He started at PerkinElmer in 2003, as European Controller, then moved to the CFO EMEA role before moving to Asia.
Bruno started his career at General Electric Inc (GE) in local to European finance functions across various businesses, then pursued it as Benelux Finance director for Baxter Inc, from 2000.
He holds a Master in Finance (1992) and a Master in Tax (1994) from Solvay Business School (University of Brussels), an FMP (Finance management Program) from GE (1996), and an IEP from INSEAD (2010).
