EskoWorld unveils packed agenda for live event

More than 150 sessions, demonstrations and workshops have been lined up to ensure visitors to this year’s EskoWorld event benefit from all the latest developments and innovations that can help their businesses rise to the challenges they face today and tomorrow.

With just three months to go until hundreds of packaging and label converters and brand representatives come together live and in person at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas, the largest technology-focused event for packaging professionals has unveiled its most exciting agenda yet.

“From June 7th-9th, this year’s EskoWorld event will bring together industry experts for three days, enabling them to learn, share and discover the latest integrated hardware and software technologies,” said Melissa Plemen, Esko Sr. Director of Inside Sales and Marketing. “The industry is still seeing a strong shift towards online shopping, an acceleration of sustainability concerns, and an increased focus on food safety and hygiene. That’s why we have assembled an agenda packed with workshops and demonstrations specifically to highlight how Esko solutions are able to digitize, automate and connect industry processes to boost operational efficiency, reduce waste and increase print quality as converters continue their own digital transformation journey.

Melissa said the full schedule features everything from software best practice workshops, trends analysis and expert panel discussions, to new product familiarization sessions and customer presentations from leading brands such as Danone, Alcon and Padagis.

“EskoWorld 2022 is all about connecting brands and packaging professionals as we navigate the issues faced today and those on the horizon,” said Melissa. “Our dedicated experts will be on-hand throughout the event to discuss hot topics such as the best ways to boost ROI with hosting in the cloud, the importance of color accuracy and color management and the macrotrends that are affecting the sector. We will also take a closer look at recent and future innovations with a whole host of roadmap sessions, panel discussions and presentations highlighting the numerous ways digital transformation can help with consistency, productivity and sustainability, ensuring this year’s attendees will get the most out EskoWorld.”

The keynote speech at this year’s event will be delivered by leading experts from McKinsey, detailing the ‘New Normal’ for the packaging value chain. David Feber, a Partner who leads McKinsey’s Packaging Service Line and an expert in the packaging sector, will be joined by Daniel Nordigården, a McKinsey Partner focused exclusively on the global paper and packaging industry, to deliver the first speech of EskoWorld 2022 on Tuesday 7 June.

“David and Daniel will examine how the five major industry trends McKinsey identified in early 2019 were expected to ‘change the game’ and have further evolved during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Melissa. “The combination of the keynote and our huge selection of sessions ensure that EskoWorld is a surefire way for attendees to get ahead of the curve, while presenting an invaluable opportunity to meet and share knowledge and experiences with their colleagues from across the globe.”

EskoWorld 2022 will take place from June 7th-9th 2022 at the Gaylord Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, near Dallas, Texas, USA. Check out the full agenda here, or for more information and to register to attend, please visit www.eskoworld.com.
