How about this new licensing system?
EskoArtwork is introducing a new license system across its entire software product range. This new license system will make your life easier in a number of ways:
- No more dongles! The new license system is entirely based on activation rather than USB keys.
- Using just one licensing system will reduce the risk of errors and license conflicts.
- You can manage all your EskoArtwork licenses in a consistent way with the same toolset.
- It allows us to offer you free 30 day trials on selected products.
For future updates and trials, you will have to migrate your license(s).

The products from Esko Software Suite 7, Release 6 on, will start to use the new licensing system.
What is the EskoArtwork Account?
The EskoArtwork Account is your data account and the key to trialing and/or using EskoArtwork software. It will become more important in the future since it will also let you access other services.

I cannot find the EskoArtwork account mail to activate my EskoArtwork account
Add EskoArtwork to your Contacts of your e-mail software: Please add "noreply@esko.com" to your email address book to avoid the possibility of your SPAM software filtering out mails from EskoArtwork. Go here for precise instructions.
My EskoLink account is not working with the trials
The EskoLink account is different from the EskoArtwork Account. EskoLink is EskoArtwork's extranet. We are working on bringing all accounts under one single login. For now, you'll need to create a free EskoArwork Account to be able to use the new licensing system.
You do NOT need an EskoLink account to use the new licensing system.
What is software Activation?
To be able to use EskoArtwork software, you need to 'activate' the software. The bases for activation is your EskoArtwork Account. You cannot run any software or start any trial without an EskoArtwork Account.

Does the new licensing system enable floating licenses?
The new licensing system can be enabled for floating licenses. However, if you are replacing existing dongle-based licenses then the new licenses will be a like-for-like replacement. If you currently have node-locked licenses then you will receive node-locked Flexnet licenses. If you currently have a floating license manager then you will receive a Flexnet floating license manager license.
As a customer, can I run DONGLE protected EskoArtwork software and the new, "online licensing" software together?
Yes, you can. However, we ask to return you dongle as soon as possible. You still have some time in between the dongle return and the moment you will receive the 'final registration key'.
First check if the software you want to upgrade, already uses the new licensing system. If it has a dongle, it's not using the new licensing system.

As a customer running DONGLE protected EskoArtwork software, is there a time limit on my current "dongle" license?
Not other than specified in your license. You do not have to do anything before you receive the new build of Esko Software Suite 7. All information will be on your Software Install DVD's.
Esko Software Suite 7 (Release 6) will only run on the new licensing system.
Follow this procedure to return your dongle(s).
If I install the trials, do I need a product key?
You never need a key for a trial. You only need to start your trial by creating an EskoArtwork Account. See the 3 steps procedure.
Can I activate my software OFFLINE?
If you do not have an internet connection and still want to activate or start your software, you need to follow another procedure.
How to upgrade to Visualizer 7.5?
Visualizer was already dongle-free, but with the new licensing you can deactivate and re-activate to move your Visualizer license to another computer. If you want to use Visualizer 7.5 and future updates, you will have to migrate your license.
